Teneriffa

Der Passatwind bläst unaufhöhrlich kühlende Meeresluft aus Richtung Nordost heran. Die mitgeführten Wolken stauen sich an den nördlichen Berghängen und sorgen mit Niederschlägen für üppige Vegetation. Im Süden der Insel scheint dafür fast immer die Sonne.

The wind (Passatwind) blows continually cooling ocean air from the direction of northeast. The carried clouds pile up at the northern mountain slopes and brings precipitations to the area what provides a magnificent vegetation. In the south of the island shines almost always the sun.
